Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles,an occupational American football team, are located in Philadelphia. They play the ED(East Division) of the NFC(National Football Conference) in the NFL. They have won 3 NFL titles and made two SB(Super Bowl) shows but lost both. In 1933 after a syndicate which was led by future NFL commissioner Bert Bell, purchased the rights to a Philadelphia privilege from the league, the club was set up as a replacement for the bankrupt FYJ(Frankford Yellow Jackets). After the Blue Eagle they were called the Eagles, a symbol directed at the New Deal stimulus programs that were launched during the GD(Great Depression). Eagles’ players having been inducted to the PFHF( Pro Football Hall of Fame) contain Chuck Bednarik, Bob Brown, Reggie White, Steve Van Buren, Tommy McDonald, Earle "Greasy" Neale, Pete Pihos, Sonny Jurgensen and Norm Van Brocklin. Bell was as well inducted as a contributor.
