New York Jets
The NYJ(New York Jets) ，a vocational American football team , are located in the NY metropolitan area. They played the ED(Eastern Division) of the AFC(American Football Conference) in the NFL. The team competes in its home games at GS(Giants Stadium )in East Rutherford, New Jersey. After the other NFL team playing there, it was named the NYG (New York Giants).
Their training equipments and corporate headquarters opened in 2008 are located in Florham Park, New Jersey. Once upon a time, their HQ and training facility were located at HU(Hofstra University) in Hempstead, NY, on Long Island.
Being a charter member of the AFL under the name NYT(New York Titans),the team started to play in 1962. While in 1963 after Andres J Grosser bought the team ,it was given another name. Later the Jets became a member of the NFL as part of the AFL-NFL Merger.
The team kept the distinction of being the first AFL team to triumph over an NFL club in an AFL-NFL World Championship Game when they cleaned up on the BC (Baltimore Colts )in SB(Super Bowl) III.
